Emergency Contact Information
Medical, Fire, and Police: Call 911
For TDD/TTY calls, dial 911 and press the space bar until someone answers.
Please review the following information in case of an emergency or illness.
Campus Security: 831-647-4153
Campus Security is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call 831-647-4153 or use the blue emergency phone attached to the buildings in various parts of the campus, which connect you directly to Campus Security.
Campus Security maintains student medical emergency cards with medical and contact information. Please note that it is the policy and practice at the Institute to call 911 for medical emergencies. All student emergencies must be reported.
Office of Student Services: 831-647-4128
If you or a fellow student has a family emergency or is ill and would like Student Services to contact your professors about class absences, please contact the Office of Student Services at 647-4128. The Office of Student Services has a first-aid kit and can refer students to physicians, dentists, and professional counselors in the community.
Hospital Emergency Rooms
Please do not go to the emergency room for routine medical care or minor injuries. In the U.S., insurance companies will only pay for emergency room service in the case of a real medical emergency (see below for After-Hours Medical Clinics).
