Overview
In the United States alone, Spanish speakers make up more than 14 percent of the population.
The Spanish Summer Intensive Language Program helps you become a confident Spanish speaker, fully able to work in bilingual education in California or New York, work with the State Department in Mexico City, help small business owners high above the Peruvian Andes, or study the Moorish-influenced art of the Iberian Peninsula.
Program Highlights

Strengthen structural skills and vocabulary.

Integrate reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

Incorporate authentic primary sources and materials from all over the Hispanic world.

Learn to navigate both professional and academic settings.

Participate in cocurricular activities such as guided tours in Spanish of Monterey, one of the first Spanish settlements in California; interactions with Spanish speakers at the local farmers’ market; Spanish conversation club; weekly salsa dancing classes; and film screenings.
