Each fall, the Center for the Blue Economy hosts a speaker series that brings creative, pragmatic, and practice-based professionals to campus.
The series is primarily intended to support the students in the International Environmental Policy program, but all lectures are open to the public. The ocean and climate focused Center for the Blue Economy Speaker Series is held each fall, and year-round lectures on broader topics of environmental justice, food security, coastal resilience and sustainability are part of the Environmental Justice and Sustainability Speaker Series hosted and sponsored by the Center for the Blue Economy, and co-sponsored by the Nancy Eccles and Homer M. Hayward Family Foundation. Most lectures will be recorded, and recordings can be found on the Center for the Blue Economy YouTube page.
