Center on Terrorism, Extremism, Counterterrorism (CTEC) Director Jason Blazakis recently published an article with Lawfare titled “A Road Map for Congress to Address Domestic Terrorism”. Covering the recent arrest of U.S. Coast Guard Lieutenant Christopher Paul Hasson, Director Blazakis addresses how congress can enact legislation to create a domestic terrorism offense law. He also suggests making domestic terrorism as a criminal offense to prevent the rise of violent domestic groups already operating in the United States.
