Center on Terrorism, Extremism, and Counterterrorism (CTEC) Director Jason Blazakis was quoted by The Wall Street Journal: “Trump Administration Seeks to Designate Muslim Brotherhood as Terrorist Organization.” In this article Director Blazakis revealed that while working at the State Department’s Counterterrorism Finance and Designations Office, there was insufficient evidence to designate the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization after a “robust” review.
