The Center on Terrorism, Extremism, and Counterterrorism (CTEC) hosted its first CTEC Speaker Series for the 2019 year featuring American University’s Professor Stephen Tankel. At the Middlebury Institute he discussed his newest book: “With Us and Against Us: How America’s Partners Help and Hinder the War on Terror”. In his discussion, over fifty students and faculty were able to glean his insights as he discussed the current state of play in the arena of counterterrorism cooperation.
