Transfer Program
You must transfer 60 credits from an accredited college or university and complete five semesters of coursework at the Institute in addition to a professional practicum in the sixth semester. Course work has a two-part focus:
- Developing an understanding of global issues and policy on wide-ranging topics including international economics, environmental sustainability, nuclear nonproliferation, and human rights.
- Designing, managing, and implementing policies and programs that improve people’s lives and the environment on which we all depend. Coursework in this area includes natural science literacy and interdisciplinary social science—economics, law, policy, and data analysis. We don’t simply study problems but address them, paying particular attention to behavioral design, effective advocacy, and social justice concerns.
