Students at the Middlebury Institute have a choice of winter term courses offered on five continents, ranging from exploring education abroad management in Spain to earning a certificate in international development and social change though DPMI Rwanda.
Middlebury Institute student Jessica Le Briquer is “living the dream” after working as an interpreter at the Paris Climate Talks, interpreting for celebrities and activists, as well as government officials.
“The world can be a scary place,” commented Middlebury Institute student commencement speakers Molly McKeon and Muhammed Sayed, but “As members of the MIIS community, we’ve all taken a first step towards addressing those challenges.”
Middlebury Institute student Muhammad Umer Khan’s research paper on the prospects for cooperation between India and Pakistan to combat the threat of nuclear and radiological terrorism recently won the International Journal of Nuclear Security student writing competition.
Go-ahead brings the Middlebury Institute of International Studies one step close to its vision of an open, green campus core.
The student arm of the Middlebury Institute’s Center for Social Impact Learning, M-Force, has made an immediate impact on the larger community, sparking new projects and a vibrant conversation about social entrepreneurship.
