Recent Monterey Institute alumnus Amer Barghouth landed an exciting high-level position in his chosen field of renewable energy management less than three weeks after graduation, and says the training and education he received at MIIS prepared him well.

Toastmaster Magazine recently highlighted the unique character of the MIIS Club, where members have partnered with the school’s translation and interpretation program to offer presentations in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Russian that are interpreted simultaneously into those four languages, Japanese, and French.

Even at a conference that attracts over 8000 international educators from around the world, it was hard to miss the large Monterey Institute delegation. Faculty, staff, students and alumni gave presentations and hosted sessions at the national NAFSA conference in San Diego.
