Applying For Housing

Housing is awarded through an application process and is not guaranteed. Munras offers students semester and nine-month (academic year) contracts. You may highlight your preferred room setup (single, double, and/or triple) in your application. Placement in future semesters is not guaranteed.

If a student is offered a space, in order to secure and finalize the assignment, they must review and sign the housing contract, and meet all deadlines, including a deposit towards the room cost.

Only confirmed, full-time 2025-2026 academic year MIIS students are eligible for housing. Returning residential students receive a housing priority period and are provided an opportunity to participate in Room Selection Day. New students are assigned randomly by their selected room type based on the date of application submission and space availability. The 2025-2026 housing application for new and returning students opens March 27, 2025.

Housing in Munras will remain open until all spaces are filled.

If you’d like to apply for student housing, please apply using the housing application. For application support, email munrashousing@middlebury.edu.
