In an op-ed published in The Hill, Jason Blazakis, director of the Center on Terrorism, Extremism, and Counterterrorism (CTEC), and Cornell colleague Anjana Rajan advocate for a whole-of-community approach to protect the American nonprofit sector from domestic extremist threats.

Blazakis and Rajan explain that nonprofits should put in place modern security systems and develop an understanding of the ‘disinformation threats that fuel radicalization…’ They also emphasize that the U.S. government should prioritize the safety of nonprofits as ‘critical infrastructure.’
