This summer three Middlebury Institute Research Fellows will study the risk copper mines pose to river basins in four countries, Australia, Peru, Chile and Zambia, under the guidance of professor and principal investigator Lyuba Zarsky.
Continuing a trend of strong performances in major business case competitions, a team of Middlebury Institute MBA students won second place and a $5,000 cash prize in The Economist’s prestigious Which MBA? case competition.
“I knew I wanted to do business and continue to develop my Japanese language skills and I had found a place where I could do both,” shares Middlebury Institute alumna Lauren Thompson who was hired by Sony Corporation in Tokyo before graduation.
