Summer 2025
Monterey in the summer time means temperatures of 50-70 degrees Fahrenheit. You can experience the “Peninsula” via, food, sport, scenic drives, and special events! Do not forget to explore the Peninsula via bicycles, hiking, kayaking and historic walks too!
Events like U.S. Womenʻs Open Championship held at Pebble Beach Golf Links. Celebrate July 4th where California was first born in Monterey! If you like racing and adrenaline you will love the Superbike World Championship at Laguna Seca Raceway and the California Rodeo Salinas and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Food and arts is highlighted by events like Carmel-by-Sea food week, regulars like the Old Monterey Farmer’s Market on Alvarado street and Watsonville Strawberry Festival. The Summer Live Music Series brings out some of the best in local talent while the Sand City West End Celebration celebrates the arts in a much funkier fashion.
For Children please check out the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Monterey County Youth Museum (MY Museum), roller skating is back in Monterey, and there are great playgrounds and beaches in the surrounding counties to cool off!
