Collaborators

The Center for the Blue Economy cannot accomplish our mission alone.
The Center for the Blue Economy partners with like-minded academic and research institutions, U.S. and international organizations, and individual scholars to achieve its objectives. We rely on donors and grant making institutions fund our work, and engage the community with public events and lectures related to the Blue Economy. We cannot accomplish our work alone, and celebrate the global “ocean team.”
The Center for the Blue Economy Advisory Council
The volunteer CBE Advisory Council helps to guide the center’s research and fundraising priorities. These dedicated professionals offer a wealth of knowledge and experience in ocean and coastal sustainability—from marine science to policy to business.

Visiting Scholars
The Center for the Blue Economy collaborates with Visiting Scholars, academics who are interested in producing original research that serves the Center’s mission. Visiting Scholars typically stay a minimum of six months to a maximum of 18 months, and are funded by their home universities.

Research Partners
The Center for the Blue Economy partners with many academic and research institutions to accomplish our mission, to provide real-world opportunities for CBE Summer Fellows, and to push forward the Blue Economy agenda.

Generous Donors
The Center for the Blue Economy was founded because of generous donors, and donor gifts remain the backbone of how we accomplish our mission. Please consider making a gift of any amount toward our goals of creating original research and providing free, open-access data for business, government and NGOs to make informed decisions and educating the next generation of ocean and coastal resource management leaders.
