Two Institute Students Win Competitive Critical Language Scholarships

A pair of Middlebury Institute students have won Critical Language Scholarships supporting study abroad opportunities in Japan and East Africa.
Critical Language Scholarship alumni are guaranteed a 20% scholarship toward a Middlebury Institute in-person or online master’s degree.
Starting in the fall of 2018, in partnership with the U.S. Department of State’s Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) program, CLS alumni can apply for a guaranteed 20% scholarship toward a Middlebury Institute in-person or online master’s degree.
CLS alumni qualify for the scholarship if you meet certain eligibility criteria:
You must meet the admissions requirements to your degree program of choice.
You must complete your CLS program by the time of enrollment, although you may be completing your program during the time of application.
To apply and receive preferential scholarship consideration:
Determine your degree program.
Submit your application by the next deadline.
Indicate your affiliation with CLS when prompted on the online application.
You can waive the application fee.
