The Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS) and the China Scholarship Council (CSC) have partnered to offer the CSC-MIIS Scholarship. This scholarship will cover the full tuition costs for 20 students each year at the Middlebury Institute in certain in-person master’s programs (see below). Additionally, the CSC will provide a stipend to help cover travel costs, living expenses, and return airfare.
The CSC-MIIS Scholarship will fund up to 20 students annually across the following degree programs:
To be considered for the CSC-MIIS scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Students are required to pay mandatory student fees, which are not covered by the CSC-MIIS scholarship. During the visa process, students will likely be required to provide proof of personal / family funds showing they have enough to cover living expenses while enrolled in the degree program. In prior years, the stipend provided by the CSC did not cover all living expenses and students will need additional funds to support themselves while enrolled.
Applicants will need to apply to both the Middlebury Institute and the CSC separately by the deadlines below.
Submit your application to the CSC Scholarship Programme by their posted deadline, April 10, 14:00 Beijing time.
