The Middlebury Institute offers 100 percent and 35 percent guaranteed tuition scholarships to Pickering Fellows and finalists for our in-person master’s degree programs.
We have partnered with Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship (Pickering) to provide guaranteed scholarships to Pickering Fellows and finalists. We recognize your commitment to international policy and service as a valuable part of our campus community and global alumni network. Our alumni work with organizations like USAID, the United Nations, and the U.S. State Department. You will study with the leading experts in global security, sustainability, development, education, and language services.
For Fellows, the scholarship award will cover the difference between your Pickering Fellowship tuition assistance and full-time tuition at the Middlebury Institute for our in-person master’s degrees. In total, 100 percent of your tuition will be covered ($46K+ per year).
Please note that students will be responsible for any non-tuition fees, such as the student activity fee, required for enrollment.
We guarantee finalists a 35 percent ($16.5K+ annual) scholarship toward a Middlebury Institute in-person master’s degree program. The earlier you apply, the more likely you are to receive additional merit and need-based scholarships.
If you are interested in an online degree program, you can still waive the application fee and benefit from the lower tuition cost for our online programs.
